CT0861: Installation of Steel Pipe in an Open Trench

Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for a pipeline worker to successfully and safely place a steel pipe in an excavated trench. It addresses the conditions and safety concerns of working in an open trench, pipe handling considerations, safety equipment, installation tools and equipment, inspection and installation procedures, and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur during the installation.
