Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required for inspecting, testing, and maintaining reciprocating compressors. It addresses the basic functions of compressors, different types of compressors, and what to look for during inspection, testing and corrective maintenance, and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur during inspecting, testing, and corrective maintenance.
